What most called my attention from the reading was the fact that Dell has built such a big worldwide enterprise, in which it does not depend on a single factory or company to run and satisfy demands. Factories are able to get components from very different places such Costa Rica and Taiwan, and they employ this method to keep the company running and make all laptops and computers ordered by costumers get to their destinations on time.
Dell Theory of Conflict Prevention is what a method the company uses to mantain a progressive order in which every demand is satisfied on time. In order to make this possible, Dell uses many other smaller companies and does not depend only in one for an specific component, and also uses marketing techniques.
